Quorum onQ® delivers instant recovery for your critical systems following any storage, system, or site failure. It achieves this by automatically maintaining up-to-date, ready-to-run virtual machine clones of your physical and virtual servers on a purpose-built backup appliance, which can seamlessly take over operations within minutes of a failure.
Physical & Virtual Servers
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Software as a Service (SaaS)
Quorum’s onQ appliance differentiates itself through convenience, performance and security
features that traditionally require multiple products to deliver:
onQ comes loaded with features that set it apart from most other solutions:
Recover failed servers instantly via browser-based interface — virtual machine clones of your production systems are always up to date and ready to boot.
Policy-based migration and long term storage of virtually unlimited de-duplicated data that must be maintained indefinitely.
Every snapshot of a server is automatically started to guarantee usability when you need it.
Full image backups of server, applications and data, followed by incremental backups at user-defined frequencies (as often as every 15 minutes).
A fully isolated sandbox environment allows you to test patches, upgrades and configuration changes before moving into production.
Deduplication is performed twice — once at the source, once at the repository — reducing both storage and network bandwidth demands.
Supports a wide range of fail-back options: bare metal, incremental fail-back, or fail-back to VMware via vMotion. Physical → virtual, virtual → virtual, virtual → physical — you’re covered.
Built-in VMware Integrated Protection (VIP) allows backup from VM level and recovery back to VMware host or to onQ with a single click.
A secure clean-room environment is included at no extra cost, enabling unlimited testing and malware-or-ransomware isolation before rolling changes into production.
With proprietary storage architecture and NVMe cache, Quorum’s purpose-built appliance is among the fastest in the industry — supporting up to 8 000 000+ IOPs when configured appropriately.
Backups that cannot be encrypted, altered or modified — helping shield you from insider threats and ransomware actors.
All offerings can protect both physical servers and virtual servers.
The onQ provides agent-based protection for Windows, Redhat Linux, CentOS Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Ubuntu Linux. Back-ups can be as frequent as every 15 minutes with 30 days of retention, or longer retention periods with our Archive Vault.
For servers managed by VMware, Quorum offers our VMware Integrated Protection (VIP). VIP is fully integrated into the native VMware components and allows easy management using vCentral and other VMware tools. In this solution, we use proxies to manage your VMs and save the back-ups as VDMK files to recover directly back to VMware. For virtual servers not using VMware, we provide agent-based back-ups similar to physical servers.
Enjoy powerful but simple data protection with your onQ disaster recovery appliance.
Quorum onQ allows the protected server to be booted from the onQ disaster recovery appliance in minutes. To restore VMware, all you need is access to a VMware host and move the data back to the server(s) using vMotion. Recovery capabilities include:
Our turnkey appliances are preconfigured and are ready to run. You can be up and running in hours.
Sizing depends on many variables (storage, machines, performance, etc.). Our Quorum systems engineer guides you through
the process to get the right fit for your environment — whether you’re protecting 10 TB or 400 TB.

onQ comes loaded with features that set it apart from most other solutions:
High Availability
The business continuity appliance is housed locally and connected directly into the production environment, providing local High Availability (HA) for even the highest transaction rate servers.
Learn MoreDisaster Recovery (DR)
Data is stored on the local appliance for HA and replicated to a second appliance at a remote location for DR. This protects against a site-wide outage and keeps your IT infrastructure running off-site.
Learn MoreDRaaS
This solution replicates data from a local appliance to the Quorum Cloud (DRaaS). It effectively protects against site-wide outages and maintains IT infrastructure continuity through the Quorum Cloud.
Learn MoreD2C
Backup your data directly to our the Quorum Cloud using a VPN connection. Delivering High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) directly from Quorum Cloud.
Learn MoreC2C
Backup and restore SaaS Apps & Cloud Storages such as G-suite, Office 365, and more.
